Anyone can bring back some gold sovereigns from US for a possible group buy to avoid GST?

Price will adjust as the day starts in the US for the week.

I notice they have them listed as 'pure gold' and calculated the value as such ;)
Still a good buy though for mint issue :)

They say "Each contains .2354 ounces " and calculated accordingly, but they still have the Friday price.

Just put a small roll in your hand bag. I did that many times.

7% over spot, and GOP slightly lower.

    This is a good buy.

And from the Sydney mint as well so you can always add a bit of a premium for the Aussie collectors.

I could go a couple of those!

I can buy a roll alone, but bring them back is a pain, because I have to post them 2 at the time, so I thought we can share them somehow.

Sovs aren't 999 so they have GST.

I should buy one roll before my post on the form

They gone now, but they have bulk sovereigns or other great deals time to time.

    Hi all,

My name is Low and I am new to this forum. Mainly I post in panda forum.

Just saying I listed 2 sovereign on ebay Australia this week. They are 1915M and 1931P. Bought them from Roxburys 2 years ago as Choice Unc.

Is it against forum rules if I mention the url here?

    Thanks.

Why don't you just list them here the next time you want to sell some Sovereigns?
    No fees as well

    Many thanks.

I am not sure if people will trust someone from Malaysia. People from other coins forum saw my previous listings on ebay and call me liar, or something along this line.

    Anyway I only have two.

Just a bit more on the gst.

So it doesn't apply to second hand sovs?
But you pay gst for new issues?

GST on all non 999, including second hand products bought from a dealer that is registered for GST. If he is just a hobbyist or under 70k per year turnover, he does not need to register, and therefore does not need to charge it.
However the gst isnt on the whole price, but on his profit margin. ie, the difference between his buy and sell price.
