This is such a political football, and agree on Di Natale in this case. The White Guilt mob need to have a critical listen to someone like Jordan Peterson or Stefan Molyneux about reality.

Di Natale needs to have some bloody humanity.

Dutton is a thumb in search of his own backside most days but I'm with him on this.

p.s. Edit was to delete emotional rant about the savage fate awaiting the Boer farmers, despite the assurances of the SA government.

He is incapable of that because he is a sociopath. The Green's ideas of benevolence are politically motivated, they are constructed around the use of force.

His supporters are either sociopaths, that's if they have digested and understood their doctrine or they are gullible or dangerous fools, that's if they haven't bothered examining the green doctrine more closely. Di Natale's comment is typical and symptomatic of the ideology of the Left, the subordination of individuality to collectivist dogma. Even in the face of overwhelming evidence that white farmers are being targeted in racially motivated attacks, even in the face of the overwhelming evidence that land expropriation legislation is motivated by Marxist principles, even in the face of overwhelming evidence that any move away from free-market principles to a planned socialist economy will increase poverty, hunger and death, Di Natalie (and Shorten to a lesser extent) deny the reality of the situation because he firstly lacks empathy for those who don't share his beliefs, is obsessed with the fear of offending because of an unhealthy infatuation with political correctness in preference to reason, and will attempt to use the power of the State to force his values on to others who are unwilling to accept his position.

Di Natale and his followers are a cancer. A cancer that spreads and kills.

Dutton has made the right and decent call. A call that is justifiable whether it applies to white SA farmers, the Kurdish in Turkey, albinos in Africa or Uighurs in China. The responsibility of Western liberal nations is to uphold and lobby for freedom from oppression and if that is not possible, to offer safe haven for those respectable and honest individuals whose lives are in danger from their own governments.

ABC doing it’s best again to accuse Peter Dutton of racism and harbouring colonialist tendencies whilst managing to downplay the plight of white farmers and turn the sympathy vote back to the hard-done-by blacks suffering from the remnants of apartheid.

And some in the community wonder why we want to axe the ABC. FFS.

Let’s do a poll and try and work out which continent is more civilised. Australia or South Africa. Here’s the question, just looking for volunteers to take it into the city streets and tribal lands of South Africa. I think we can cover Australia adequately through Facebook:

"Do you believe in witch doctors?"

Di Natalie is just like any other feckless, greedy socialist. He envies the rich and despises the poor. His plan is to become one of the rich so that he can control the poor. He is as unscrupulous and deceitful as any politician can be.

Exactly. Hence the quote: “To anger a conservative tell them a lie. To answer a Leftist tell them the truth”.

The ownership of private property is one fundamental aspect required in order to be truly human. The other is ownership of person ie private property and personal rights.

I would argue that a civilised society is one in which we can achieve our full human potential. Having electricity certainly goes a long way toward helping us to be fully human, but private property and personal rights (in the form of negative rights) are the key. Many African nations (most?) do their best to de-humanise their citizens, therefore, they are less civilised than Australia. :)

Land expropriation is left-wing populism. The EFF leader has made it clear this legislation is not racially based, it is ideologically based.

Just incidentally, Australia's ranking in economic freedom according to the Fraser research has declined from 2010 when we were 5th in the world to 9th. Our worst performance is in the area of Size of Government.

If South Zimbabwe changes its constitution to legally allow confiscation of private property I think that it’s actually then illegal under US law for the US govenment to trade or provide foreign aid to that country.

Redistribution of land to south african blacks is basically bs. How so much land will each south africa black get? More likely the right to use the land will go to government ministers and officials.

Just wondering if they can expropriate farmland, can they take back the gold and platinum land? :D

I heard it being discussed on TV yesterday in an interview with a US politician. Something to do with Human Rights legislation in the USA.

It's in the UN Human Rights charter - not that anyone pays attention to that.

    http://www.claiminghumanrights.org/udhr_article_17.html#at18

Article 17 Declaration of Human Rights.

    1. Everyone has the right to own property alone as well as in association with others.
    2. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property.
