Well this is going to cause problems (maybe)?
I really wanted to make the comment that after Trumps very well worded speech on this that gold and silver continue to languish and bitcoin has hit another all time high.
    That just amazes me.
What jumped out at me from Trumps speech was that he said we can not continue to do the same things of the decades past and hope for a different outcome>>>>>>The President is correct.

    Something need to change.
I think this might force a final BIG confrontation and then the winning side can get on with life and the losers will be left so small in number that we shall not need to worry about them.
I am certainly not a fan of israel and can not see that changing for me.
I do not think this was good as it helps israel,i think it good that finally someone is deciding to change the status quo THAT HAS FAILED MISERABLY.

No one should be a fan of Zionist controlled Israel just like no one should like all our Western medias, governments, militaries, corporations all being Zionist owned/controlled.

Probably, not the best approach, as it leave numerous parties unhappy.
    i.e. Hamas, Palestine, Turkey.
RT even mentiones EU and the Pope.

Given the significance of the city for numerous parties/sides/people,
lets hope, general public would not suffer from such extreme politics.

(Otherwise, it would be looking like a nasty setup by US leadership)

Call a spade a spade and force the dissenters to either show their true motives or get them to convince you otherwise based on civil debate and goodwill.

His recognition of Taiwan was great as well.

Cause Trump pronounce 'Tel Aviv' that's why... he can't even say 'coffee'... so he tweet 'cofveve' (what ever that is)

    No way. That'd be disaster.
The area was boiling for many years.

There were reasons for not declaring Jerusalem a capital.
Not sure how it is relevant to Taiwan.

i.e. when there is a history of common people of Israel
being victimes of mistakes made by their politicians for years (terrorist attacks), whereas
China was never engaging in such things.

Hence, there were years of investing in a peaceful solution by previous generation of politicians.

Whoever knows about engineering will know all about tensile testing metal. This is all that is happening now. How much force can be applied?

The repercussions from this unilateral decision will cost Palestinian lives, Israeli lives and American lives.

    Arguments for not recognising Jerusalem:
    - Jerusalem is a sacred religious centre and [core leaders of] the Palestinians want a Caliphate with Jerusalem as its capital and the eradication of the Jews from the region. The USA should recognise and support this genocidal caliphate in the interests of peace negotiations which had been progressing awesomely until Mr Combover stirred the pot.
    - Secular democratically elected governments that allow fair access to the multiple sacred sites in the region suck balls compared to those peace-loving Hamas dudes.
    - Something something about someone's long dead forefathers means so-and-so is entitled to something or other.
    - ???

Nice tactic! when you have no valid arguments, just ridicule the topic.

Here an argument from the President of France, hope it helps for understanding:

US Move 'goes against international law and all resolutions of the UN Security Council'
    source
    https://www.rt.com/usa/412368-trump-jerusalem-iran-saudi-turkey/

the article has more on this

As fellow members put it above, the likely cost will be the lives of commoners in the region.
Seems to be quite an argument by itself.

    And from the web

If you read carefully you will see that I had actually rephrased the French Prez's "arguments". The core issue at hand are the intolerant religious nutters who are against a secular state. I reckon more people should boil the issue down to whether they support:
    (a) an imperfect, but quite acceptable secular state which grants rights to people of multiple religions to live peacefully side by side with many free speech, voting and human rights
    (b) a bunch of intolerant murderous wankers intent on setting up a theocracy.
Like politics everywhere, both options suck and we'd all prefer a third, but in many cases one is starkly better than another.

PS And, yes, this whole topic should be ridiculed.

You can ridicule as much as you want.
Another tactic, is placement of labels as:
    a) and b)

Sounds like good ole approach from Adolf and his mates. They were also
dividing people on a) and b)

And there is no need ot rephrase the president of France.
(you did a poor job, in my opinion)

The tone and the language clearly indicates lack of education and knowledge.
    Hehe, a) and b)
