Can't believe how many people are happy about this...
You're literally losing your wealth and are excited.

    I AM EXCITEDS!

but seriously, nothing beats buying gold at discounted prices and holding them in your hands.

or buying kilo silver bars and stacking them...

that's how wealth feels like i guess. :)

If only you'd sold your stack and bought bitcoins D:

EDIT: on a more serious note, the people who are excited are the ones who still want to buy (me) if you have all of your savings tied up in this as a speculator I can see how price drops could hurt you. If you have a large amount of money tied up in this then at least you will learn a lesson about diversifying (countless times I've read people trying to hammer the importance of this on here).
    Have you bailed yet?

The impression I get is some are not doing it for wealth preservation/long-term-creation rather they're doing it as a "collectable hobby." So from that view, yes if someone is a collector of something they do get excited when their hobby becomes more affordable.

Like anything there will be people with both views good and bad. He posted a video which I agree with and that is silver is still silver and likewise with gold. I enjoy building my stack and unlike others with large disposable income, I have to stack within my budget/means. So this current price is good for me. I have other things i collect which only goes up in price as they become harder to find and more collectible IMO

Some peoples investment plan does better in more volatile markets.

Sell that which has done well (cash) buy that which has fallen (gold).

Rince and repeat when the market changes.

The grind is dull for some :)

Also, if you do think that gold will do an accounting for the money supply, then you would want it to drop as low as possible beforehand!

    Absolutely agree with you mate.
Everyone seems to be loving the dips...but till it gets to what level?
People will say it give them an opportunity to buy more, while speculating it will swing back up.
I'd rather have a slow and steady appreciation.

Yep, that's why some of us diversified into bitcoins. Good job too. A small amount invested in btc last year nicely offsets any losses in the PM's.

Only, though, if you measure your wealth in fiat currency. If, on the other hand, you're counting ounces, nothing has changed.

I happy because unless you sell your pms, you have not lost. It just a number a paper, bit like fiat. Count toz not $ value. You will feel better.:D
I Don't have to and don't want to sell now. I'll wait for the upturn. The longer that takes the more I will stack.
As for bubble coin it can go to nothing. Can't see my metal being worth nothing. I can always make sinkers for the local fishos.
