Both are delicious. More SLR than KCN though in my opinion. If i had 10,000 to invest in gold stocks at the moment it would be something along the lines of: $2000 SLR, $2000 KCN, $1500 NST, $500 CAS/EVN and keep $4000 cash to average down if need be. Don't listen to me though
$2000 in each of rrl, kcn, slr, evn and bdr in 2x $1000 tranches, 1 tranch now, 1 later dont listen to me either
I have had KCN on my watchlist for about 3 months now looking at buying in for the first time. I keep investing elsewhere and the sp is still heading south on its current downtrend. I'm sitting it out waiting for the trend to reverse somewhat. I think it may get allot lower , but happy to buy in higher if i'm wrong... i've given up on predicting the bottom these days..
I've had a good dose of Combantrin and stopped bottom picking as well but I'm still looking at the end of the month / first week in June as an entry point, also think Sanchez is right in buying in tranches tho as things are that far down at the moment in some of these stocks I don't think it would take much for a 100% rebound to happen... A little black swan in Europe or a flash crash in the U.S , a take over bid... who knows. Missing out now based on a few pips given the possible long term result's of the company's mentioned above would be a real bitter regret looking back I reckon. I like SLR a little more then KCN but it's a bit like Blonde or Brunette for me, they are both hot.
I bought into both SLR, KCN, and also NCM today with my super. Outside super, already used up all funds for CCU, including supporting its capital raising recently. I have literally backed up my truck to support Australia's gold and silver mining industry! Good luck to all investors
+1 for KCN. Maybe EVN next. Personally PMGOLD has served me well as a hedge against the aussie dollar.
