Size of Avatar

    Can someone please help with resizing my picture to fit with the requirements. Every picture I have suitable for my Avatar is too big to upload so I go to resize it to less than 20kb, but for me to resize to this smaller size means I have to go below 1% of the size of every picture I have and the program that resizes wont let me go below 1%. Why is the size so small?

    Bandwidth. Every avatar adds to the page size and slows the website.

    If you're on a Windows machine, try downloading IrfanView for free - it will allow you to resize.

    I still cant get my image that small using that program, it wont go under 20kb
