! I am moving to Russia in about a months time. So nice to know there are stackers there! From what I can tell though, buying gold and silver in Russia is very expensive, both have 30% Tax right? Do you buy from outside of Russia and just send it via normal registered post? Or how do you import silver. Ever had any packages go missing?
I was lucky. Nothing is missing yet. But there can be problems with customs. Foreign silver is more expensive here (because it's resellers market). Russian mints don't mint silver coins now. Gold is about the same as outside Russia.
They stopped minting the silver george and the dragon coins? Please could you PM me some of the dealers that sell gold for reasonable premiums in Russia.
Thanks! A little expensive. 1oz gold kangaroo works out about 851. In Europe can get nearer to 800. For example atkinsonsbullion.com have them for 814 including free shipping. (Can get cheaper, but just using as an example) So makes it about 4.55% more expensive to buy in Russia
I am sure we will also end up doing some deal in the future is good to know there will be other stackers in Russia to trade with as I am moving there soon.
