Nice, so I can directly heat crucible over a propane torch? Or will crucible become brittle and crack?

Have cooked this Crucible, with Mapp Torch over and over. ( 7 x Bottles over the last 6 months )
Make sure to leave it cool naturally ( Do Not Cool down in water as this will cracked it )

The crucible capacity about 5 oz Ag very comfortable as more metal , more heat is needed.

Sure, the spare crucible is $12.00 at the shop.
I will see if I can get them still.

You will need some Borax to glaze the crucible before use! This will sealed the crucible from being porous.
Wear some safety glass, as the molten metals roll in the crucible. ( Action in gentle spinning direction ), then you will also need a mould
Mould can be made from Mild steel plate , don't need Graphite mould.

Id suggest adding a locking screw to both sides and a spring washer type tension setup.
Repeated heating and cooling of the setup creates expansion and contraction of the metal thread and screw, coupled with movement.
You don't want a law suit for slippage of the crucible clamping mechanism & crucible cup causing a spillage of hot molten metal over the user.
