I came across a silver spoon today that was only marked 'rodd' without the .925 or stg or lion hallmark which is customary for solid silver kitchenware.

It is most likely electroplated, but has a 'ring' to it when struck, that sounded different to some other spoons I flicked. Would it be more to do with the cut than the composition?

It's quite a cute spoon - the splade half of a two spoon salad server set, I'd say. No photos yet.

"RODD" is a brand name and is most likely epns (silver plated)
