I've been saying that all along but i've kinda agreed to rid the personal loan before any more metal purchases. Metal is addictive - especially now that i like the kangaroos.

*slap head* no coins! do not get interested in coins! *slap head*

I note that one of my kangaroo coins that i bought yesterday isn't set square on both sides. There is a difference of about a 1/3 rotation if i flip the coin. Is this an error and would it make much difference to the value?

Thats what I keep telling the missus. Even a gold $100 note wasn't enough to convince her: This.... is worth 200 bucks. Paper one.... 100 bucks....

When confused about this sort of thing, she usually mutters 'bloody pikeys' or 'cash, money, stack' or suchlike.

Ninteno, I'll have a toot at the value of the Roo's this weekend. Happy to help our european contingent :)

Here's a novel way to get interest from your potential German buyers:

With the kangaroos, what does it mean for them to be labeled "almost proof quality"? If they are not proof at 99.9 then what are they?

Oops - realised last night that i was viewing the correct placement on the words not the design. The words are not centred on this particular year, the indigenous kangaroo design is. My mistake.

I did the same thing for the same reasons yesterday, one to keep and one to flog eventually :)
I nearly have the full set.

If it was a Rolf Harris it was a 2007 one. Thats a bargain. The 2008 is Reg Mombassa, this one i have seen for 65$ in more than one onlineshops.

Its a test for the one coloured i have over. First i did start an auction with starting at 1$. The auction was suspect to me because i was not able to find it in search list, but it was watched by other members and i got requests for BIN option. So lets see what happes ...
Hope nobody here wants to buy it, i do not like stackers here to charge such ugly prices.

I see lots of the 2007 but they are mostly the nickel coins. I don't see the silver 2007 very much in the shops.
