Just some questions in regards to the silver kangaroo coins:

    1. I've noticed in the McDonald's book that the mintage for the issues is broken down into carded, coin fair, and proof issues, but there is no mention of these coins in the post office issue type holder. Is there anywhere to find out how many were issued is this format?

    2. Are the post office holder type coins included in the carded minatge numbers?

    3. In Australia is there a preference as to the type of holder: carded versus post office?

    4. Do collectors here consider the post office issue to be another 'type' or 'variety, needed to have a complete collection of these coins?

    5. It appears that the post office holder type coins sell for or have a small premium in their asking price compared to the carded coins - is that correct?

I'm sure there was a thread that had all the details you are asking about Yankee101.
    I'll try and find it.
The mintage details of the Carded Kangaroos etc are on it; "somewhere" .

Have a look for a post dated 19 November 2011.
