silver and gold coin

Hi i have been offered a silver 1 oz 1976 Krugerrand and a half oz gold sovereign

I dont know what these are and i dont know what price to offer for them.....any idea of fiat value?

Hey greg. Not too good with South African silver... But the 1oz sov sounds interesting.

My assumption would be that its a GB 2 or 5 pound coin your being offered... Prices for those can be found in the calculators under 'world gold coin price'

Have you got any more info, gross weight, Faces etc?

I think thats what you want to ask, as for the post above, there is no such thing as silver krugerrand

 

unless they meant the coin with the antelope thing on the front that is 0.72 silver (i think) - i can't remember it's name but i do have one.

 

Somebody made a 1oz generic silver round that looks just like a krug. I had one a few years ago, I think the name of the mint may have been on it, can't recall for sure though.

 

Perhaps it is a 1 oz ...gold..1976 Krugerrand, i will know tomorrow, perhaps they want silver price for it....yea i am dreaming
