as above, just wondering what the series 1 lunar set goes for these days, or is it better off to just sell the coins seperately? havent kept up with it the last few years.

    cheers

Also any opinion of price of series 1 lunar PROOF set wanted. I have them in the original presentation box from the Mint with certificates but dont have the individual boxes. Got it for $1200 2 or 3 years ago which I thought was a good price at the time. I have seen the series 1 BU listed on ebay for $1500 now and then but I don't think it sold and just keeps getting relisted.

low spot drags down prices even on s1 lunars.seen some 1oz coins on ebay with no takers for days and it was considerable cheap.i would not pay more then around $700-800 for the set in this current situation

regards the proof set if u dont have the box its kind of sets back the price as without the box it is incomplete

Assuming you are talking about the 1oz coins the bu set would make around $900-$1000 AUD in Europe, especially Germany as they tend to bid hard on complete sets.

Proof 1 ozers more difficult to price if you have not got the individual boxes and certs. I'd have thought if all the coins are mint they would make $1500-$1900 AUD

I got the proof set in the official wooden case that holds the 12 coins and certificates. I would think having it in the nice official box all together would enhance the value of the set rather than having them in the crappy red boxes.

By the way what do people think a s1 1 oz proof dragon with certificate but no outer red cardboard box is worth? It has the red inner plush box.

Give them a shot on ebay with a reserve and see how it goes, or try on here if you are looking to sell.
