If you had a choice to buy sealed an un-sealed 1oz gold, what would you choose? For purposes of future investment, would it make a lot of difference? Sealed maple for example is slightly more expensive than unsealed. Wondering if there is a good reason to a a little mre or sealed maples?

If the unsealed coin is in the same condition, get it and put it in a capsule. No big deal. General gov't issue bullion prices vary little based on condition. If it is a semi-numi piece you're after, like a Lunar or Panda, etc., sealed is probably better and worth the extra few dollars. If it is plain generic bullion, pay as little over spot as possible.
