Hi, 1 - I'd read in a couple of places that there was a very large buy up by a single buyer. Is this simply a false rumor? It may be but I didn't see a reason to automatically discount that possibility because of the plausibility that this could happen 2 - Setting the bar to whatever you choose is your prerogative based on your personal beliefs....I have never argued that you are not allowed to do that because I have no control over what you or anyone else believes. Additionally, I do not contend a $100 bar....you may be right on that. My point was simply that at the prices that it is fetching now, the dragon is not a good purchase in my view....it's over valued. 3 - That certainly can account for a temporary increase but if there was a large buy out by a single buyer, this would account for a bit of hysteria which would in turn lead to an artificial, temporary but significant (whether that's 40% or 85% or whatever amount it is over valued) increase in my view
I seen people want huge money for mouse 2 oz 400 , 5oz 650-900 ,1/2 oz 100 . Hmm this coin is just from planet mars red rock.
^ charge what people will pay. If people want to pay $600 for 2 ounces of silver, I too would be happy to help them part with their cash
The ones I have are like this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2010-2oz...00838312827?pt=AU_Bullion&hash=item2ec2e5737b
The one u found on ebay-silverspirit-way overpriced for the right buyer it would worth a lot, could be around the same as the 2oz ox-$140-$150,maybe a little less
The 2 oz Mouse is just stupidly rare. People pay those amounts because they want to complete a set. This includes me. I have all the 2 oz Lunars except the 2008 S2 Mouse. It's the only one missing. It's hard to bring myself to spend that amount of money on 2 oz of silver, but I'll have to bite the bullet and do it one day. Otherwise I might as well get rid of all my other 2 oz. Full set or nothing, IMO.
I was just reading this thread and was curious to see if the evaluation of any of the lunars had changed in the last 4 months.
^ Yes. Snakes you can get close to $35, Tigers you cant get $60. You can take $5-$10 off the coin prices listed here from 4 months ago.
