Hey guys I've seen mixed videos on YouTube of the Rwanda Plastic Wrapping being PVC is this a confirmed fact? What are your thoughts. Should I capsule them or will that decrease the value? Will they be safe for long term storage in the wrapping? Any feed back would be great!

Several years ago i posted a article on the old SS site 2012 I think it was regarding the Rwandan coins which are issued in PVC slips. I advised everyone to remove them and put them in acrylic slips or Quadrum airtites. Anyway the chickens are now coming home with several reports of so called "milk spots" on these coins. These are not milk spots but PVC damage. It was interesting that when I originally posted this information I was told by several members that PVC was safe for 0.999 coins and they should be left alone. Soon I will send mine to PCGS as the non PVC damaged coins will become very rare items.
