Hello, I posted a handful of coins on ebay for sale. A couple days later I got a message from eBay saying: We had to remove your listing because it didn’t follow our VeRO Unauthorized Item Policy. Unauthorized copies or counterfeits are illegal and not allowed on eBay What you need to do next Items removed for this policy cannot be relisted. Please ensure that your future listings are for authentic items only. For these items, they should be described accurately and completely, so buyers know that it is an authentic item. What is the policy - Your listing was reported by Royal Canadian Mint for offering a counterfeit item. eBay’s Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) program offers intellectual property rights owner(s) a way to report listings that they believe infringe on their rights - Counterfeits are illegal, and not allowed on eBay - If you believe a mistake has been made, you will need to contact the rights owner directly. If the rights owner approves your appeal, please have them contact us directly to reinstate your listing(s) You can send an email to: [email protected] Here is a silver round the Royal Canadian Mint is saying is counterfeit????... Has anyone heard of the RCM claiming these Cannabis silver rounds are counterfeit?? My title or descriptions did not mention maple or leaf. Just "Cannabis silver round silver shield 1 oz .999 fine silver" Thoughts?? Thanks
might be more to do with claim of unauthorised image use? looks like cannabis leaf overlayed on maple
Didn't realise that the RCM trolled though Ebay. You could always relist it and only show the other side in the photos.....
Totally different, as anyone who has smoked both will confirm. RCM people must have been smoking maple at the time.
