I always thought that Kiyosaki only used a bank loan to start building his financial nest egg.. I have been under the impression that he would see a good deal in RE, buy low and sell high..using his own money as his bank. Is this totally wrong? Have I got it wrong? Wouldn't be the first time! I always found Kiyosaki's original books (i.e. before he became a name-whore like Tom Clancy) a bit like Twinkies - they have a rich creamy centre of useful information but are surrounded by utter sh*t and they leave an faintly sweet but deeply unpleasant smell on the bookcase and are so artificial that even the ants don't touch them. You thought you were enjoying them but afterwards you wish you hadn't eaten it and you promise yourself "never again".
In my opinion he is a mixed bag.. He did call silver early on and does/did have gold mine ownership. But on the financial side it seems like your saying he doesnt advocate using leverage? I thought that was the cornerstone of his mantra to use the banks money to generate income through rent etc. 1for1
