You're spewing forth a bunch of pseudo-science, myths, and opinion. Worse than many anti-vaxers I've met.

    So here's a few facts:

Fact #1. Polio vaccines are scheduled at 4 years of age in Australia.
Fact #2. Polio vaccine only lasts 10 years.
Fact #3. Complications from polio are rare. Most people do not suffer any lasting effects. 0.5% (1 in 200) chance of lasting disability, 0.05% (1 in 2000) chance of death.

From facts #1 and #2 we can determine that all Australian children under 4 and most people over 14 are not 'protected' from polio. So most of the people reading this are not 'protected'. So your whole polio 'Iron Lung' example is moot.

The anecdotal account about your partner working in a restaurant with poor hygiene does not make any of your statements valid.

There is no evidence that polio is spread by shellfish, seafood, or berries. And polio is certainly is not spread by cooked food. There's plenty of evidence about how it's spread.

Government + big business + a lot of money = Incompetence, corruption, fraud

This is the main reason I reserve my rights to be skeptical of government mandated vaccination. I'm yet to see a combination of those three that works in favor of ordinary citizens.

You don't have to be Einstein to answer this question. Big Pharma has so much money they can; buy ; Congress and influence the law which suits them. Maybe Kennedy is a nutter, but has at least the guts to talk about something -some others are afraid of.

I agree, it takes guts to even talk about anything remotely anti-vaccine.

There's too much uninformed illiterate pseudo-science and emotional BS. Most of it comes from the pro-vaccine advocates, who are, unfortunately, the majority.

I agree- The majority of people rely on science which could be good or pseudo. Science is beneficial, but only if your awareness is on certain level and you don't take anything on face value.

I've never had any shots like that and I almost never get sick or the flu.
Everyone I know that gets the flu shot also gets sick as hell afterwards.

Science tells us that immune systems have kept us alive for millions of years. It's not a problem.
I've never understood why people want to get the flu every year.

A great animation primarily about the vaccination court in the US and the huge conflict of interest in giving vaccines.

Do you think that an organisation who can get the government to pass a special law to protect them from being sued, hasn’t got the resources to establish a fake science website?

I stopped as soon as I saw the hyperbole. If the author wanted to make a rational and objective argument they failed miserably.

Firstly, I don't highly regard scientific information from anonymous bloggers named after dinosaurs (i.e. SKEPTICAL RAPTOR). Even when prepend "the original" to their pseudonym.

My first gripe is the author assumes that RFK is lying, and is therefore acting maliciously. That's a big assumption and shows the author may have an ax to grind. Instead of titling each point "Lie #X", the author could have assumed that JFK was mistaken and used words like "Mistake #X" or "Misinformation #X" ... "Fallacy #X".

My second point is that the author concedes that "Of course, RFK Jr may be using a retracted study as the basis of his misinformation.". Did the author do any fact checking before labeling it a lie?

"This is a serious error in analysis". I'm confused. Is it a lie like the title says or an error?

    ...

I knew a girl in grade school that had a tail. Rumor had it that she had a few extra vaccines.

@willrocks, so you can’t use scientific evidence to rebuff anything the author alleges.

I’ll stick to science for my facts, you can have ad hominem and conspiracy theories. ;)

Firstly, I haven't even read any of JFK Jr's work. So I can't say I agree with anything he says.

But I certainly won't take "science for my facts" from anonymous bloggers who clearly have an ax to grind.

Also, I think everything I've linked to and said are all from reputable sources.
