They go back to how they were at that time too....potentially could also develop milk spots

Unless your stuff was on it before you bought it (unlikely) it will be gone.

System restore probably won't but a factory restore should as it removes all data. Keep in mind it's not guaranteed as some of those evil root and bootkits can alter the MBR drive. Recovery partitions can also be infected.

What's got you asking the Q?

I was on ebay earlier and my email to a buyer just went and it happened twice, plus I was left with some chinese writing on the side that I had not seen before.

Plus on my ebay short cut and my now ss short cut the picture is like some broken text/depixelated/broken english unlike before.

I do have some decent anti virus software named - - - - - that has served me well so far.

    Thanks House for asking.

You didn't say what OS you got. If it's Windows 7 here is how to do it.

Excellent news for you! Virus and milk spots can be easily removed by soaking your computer in the bath for no less than 30 minutes. Add baking soda to get it really shiny!

That's probably not something to be too worried about. Definitely run more than one program- try Malwarebytes and Avast first and see what they find.

    Spybot is good too.

I got Kaspersky Internet Security, Malwarebytes and Spybot on my PC. Each is good at it's own thing. They always seem to pick something up.
