I'm aware that no matter how this poll turns out the mods are under no obligation to go with the results,
I just want to know what the forum thinks.

You have to vote to view results, I did that cos I want people will vote on their own, not popular opinion.

The forum isn't censored. It's still there for posting and reading. Just doesn't appear in New Posts any more.

It's the absolute most problematic forum on here from a complaints/moderation perspective. This was the balance chosen between making it members only, or removing it entirely.

The vast majority of people on this forum have not seen the thread linked here due to current affairs not being displayed in new posts.

    https://www.silverstackers.com/forums/index.php?threads/how-long-will-trump-last.83399/page-99

look from this page onward and there is a lot of relevant information relating to the US election.
People have the right to be exposed to this, evidence of Voter fraud on a massive scale.
The media is lying to you.
This information needs to be spread far and wide.
Trump won in a historic landslide.
    The evidence is overwhelming.

I think it’s important to understand politics and geopolitics as it affects money printing which affects gold and silver prices. We now live in an Internet age where whatever happens in China and the US will eventually affect us just as the virus can spread globally. You can bet that all the politicians and dictators in the world are now learning the art “winning” an election even if you're the worst candidate in the world. This would have global consequences.

So maybe we need 2 Current Affairs Forums, one for the Public and another for Members Only. The Public forum remains as it is with posts no longer showing up under New Threads. And the Members Only forum has all posts showing under New Posts and Alerts. :)

Or just have the information freely available for everybody to see.

Even if there's just one thread that can be specifically about the 2020 election and the fraud involved that is made public to everyone.

One extra click to catch up on current affairs.

    I don't see the problem. It's a fair solution.

The problem is a lot of people aren't aware this discussion is happening on here because it doesn't show up in new posts.
This is very important information being shared that could bring people to wake up on their one before the truth is shoved down their throats in a very uncomfortable way.
If the thread appeared in new posts doesn't force anyone to click on it, but it lets them know the discussion is happening and gives them the option.

Apart from some dank ass memes and evidence of massive voter fraud.

    Yea, basically nothing.

This section of the website is better off members only. Prying eyes that have delicate constitutions will not find themselves offended, site administrator and moderators have better things to do than soothe crying children other than their own, members can enjoy the relative freedom, if not at 2009 levels.

Things have changed in the world. The US Senate voted to make platforms more accountable for content in 2018 (after legislation passed by corporate lobbyists) and right after that, loads of unpc talkers on the major social media platforms became victims of the killing fields of free speech.

It’s a bit like Australia’s own senate voting against a proposition that it’s okay to be white. Something about reality dies at that point. The rules changed. With a Harris administration, what you enjoy now will be eroded and is best walled away as it is.
