12.5M volume, up 18% today.

Million share orders... big boys are circling. Sprott? Whats the goss?

 

They got a speeding ticket so supposedly nothing happening. I have some so was a bit surprised to see it. Sprott sold some SAR and added to RMS a little while back I think.

 

I think people are diving on things, moving big money around on volume trades, BDR had big volumes as well for no reason.

 

Nearly forgot. Profit guidance update today.

Yeah, the way gold is going if it can break the recent high it could have a good move up.

 

it'll land around 21c earnings.... industry avg is PE16.... do the math...

Alot of juniors producers are due...

Mt Magnet resource announcement out today.

 

RMS had a set back a week or so ago with problems with their crusher impacting production for the quarter but today they bounced back quite a bit with an announcement today of a spectacular gold intersection at wattle dam. Still well off its highs though.

 

Gold Road have had drill core in excess of 1000g/t - always good to see but can be a one hit wonder depending on what the drilling around it measures.

 

too true though in this case its a second big intersection according to the announcement but what you say still applies.

coming back now a bit now as well.

 

Trading Halt & Announcement

So a company with 100M in cash, and 2 "fully funded" operations, who just on-market bought 6% of a regional explorer over past 6mo, now needs another $55m cash?

anyone else puzzled?

 

Might be a sign of things to come... a variety of PM based basket style funds and products to continue to enter the investment scene...

 

I didn't think it was a 100 mil but was getting up there. Could be a case of striking before the gold price gets going again. They did look at expanding the mt magnet project with evaluation done at $1500. They look like they might be having ago at DRM as well, they might be getting more serious about that.

They did have a bad quarter so I'll be interested to see how the next goes.

Their timing seems to suck as far as the share price goes.

 

Moved higher today perhaps on the S&P announcement? Might be breaking out of its downtrend.

 

Yeah S&P ASX200 puts it on the accumulate target for fund managers.

Would probably be one of the only PE5 ASX200 companies

 

Was some very good volume this morning but seems to have eased off a bit now.
