The Royal Australian Mint will be issuing in February a new Lunar Dragon coin issue. This issue is a commissioned product destined for the Asian market. However the RAM is offering Australian dealers a small number of these coins. At this stage no imaging is available. 2012 1oz Silver Lunar Dragon $95.00 (Mintage 50000 of which 10000 available in Australian Market). 2012 5oz Silver Lunar Dragon $369.00 (Mintage 10000 of which 2000 available in Australian Market). 2012 1kg Silver Lunar Dragon $1990.00 (Mintage 3500 of which 700 available in Australian Market). 2012 1oz Gold Lunar Dragon $2990.00 (Mintage 1500 of which 300 available in Australian Market). 2012 5oz Gold Lunar Dragon $14700.00 (Mintage 3500 of which 700 available in Australian Market). 2012 1kg Gold Lunar Dragon $92500.00 (Mintage 100 of which 20 available in Australian Market).
are these the same as the ones on the Downies site? 2012 $1 Lunar Dragon Coloured 1oz Silver Proof 2012 $10 Lunar Dragon Coloured 1/10oz Gold Proof ... been thinking of thinking of getting one of the silver proofs but so far they (Downies) have blocked international sales
Exactly, wtf. That's 35K+ of premium, just because it came from the mint? Anyone who buys one of those has money to burn. In fact by the looks all their gold coins are very overpriced.
Ok so it's been over 3 years since anyone has written on this post. I am very very new to silver and have one of those 2012 RAM Dragon's above. Not coloured the standard one with 50,000 mintage . Can anyone give me a price check on it today?
