Interestingly, the silver coin has a 29% premium, the gold coin a 58% premium.

This silver coin is only 11.66grams in weight though compared to the 1oz Perth Mint dragon.

I've never seen an RAMint Lunar until yesterday in a Sydney coin shop. They are really small compared to the Perth Mint ones. You really need to have to coin in your face to see the animal. I needed also to squint to actually see the animals features.

If you look at the previous years designs, they all have the cornering. They have to produce a different coin to the Perth Mint, and they are more a numismatic mint than bullion, so there's never going to be a bargain there.

Gold is 1/10th oz for $275 = $2750 per ounce

Silver is 11.66 gm for $50 = $133 per ounce
