    Specifically gold bars.

Are Perth Mint a recognised mint when it comes to poured gold bars in the US? I know their silver coin products are pretty universally recognised, and APMEX and a few other places carry the Certicard gold bars, but if you were offered a 1oz or 2.5oz poured gold bar from the Perth Mint, would it be considered just another gold bar, or something "foreign"?

I would say the 1oz Perth Mint gold bar is just another well known bar, and no more "foreign"
as a Pamp or Credit Suisse bar and perhaps just as liquid in the US. The prices are about the same most of the time. I usually go for the Pamp on an assay card, but I have one Perth Mint bar because I like the Swan design.
