I am wondering whether it is a good idea to buy coins from pawn shops, considering that they are kinda of shady. I am only used to buy coins for certified bullion dealers. Is there anything that I need to be particularly wary of when I buy things from pawnshops?

It's very easy to make the mistake of buying fake gold and silver. I would stick to a bullion dealer who specialises in PMs.

Always buy from your local dealers. No post or insurance, and providence of your stack if you save your receipts. It buying off Silver Stackers you have a history in your “Conversations” you can check on.

    I buy from pawnbrokers,
You just need to know what your looking at.
Also helps if you have developed a relationship with the pawnbrokers previously.
