Australia is a separate continent from Asia and is actually surrounded by Polynesians and Melanesians. Very different. And nothing is inevitable.

I am not racist but it just gets to me that people have to live in those small boxes as shown above all basically because of way too many people breeding in said country.

Look up the Muslim birth rate in oz.

There will be 1 million of them by 2030.

Hopefully more will be moderate than fundamentalist. I doubt it though. The push for an alternative legal system is already under way.

The only good point is by 2030 hopefully most boomers would have died off.

Except for sammysilver, he is a legend.

Yes, but that seems to be a group of so-called 'Anglicised' Chinese, Malays etc and Koreans. To be honest I've not found much in common with new arrivals, even if they are co-workers I spend weeks alongside.

    Thankyou TheEnd.
You have given me confidence in my judgement, and my ability to have a personality pegged reasonably early after initial introduction.
My initial impression of you was spot-on.
You, dear sir, are one fkd up tool, and it's no wonder you can't hold down a job. :)

As far as I can tell at 25 this year I am much younger than TheEnd. I am definitely not a 'lazy' boomer.

You could argue my generation are even more disadvantaged than his, although I don't feel that way. I may be a young fool, but in my mind anger and frustration get you no where fast.

No amount of anger on my part will change reality, so I choose to dive into it head first. I am a humanities teacher and if you weren't aware, there is a massive oversupply of people with my qualifications in Australia. Now I could have stayed in Aus and struggled along, making woe is me threads on here every so often about how unfair my life is. But I didn't, I chose to do something about it.

I came over to Asia where I am the maligned foreigner stealing all the jobs. I am even worse than the foreigners everyone gets hung about in Australia, because I earn at least ten times more than locals with the same qualification. My base wage before bonuses is 100 x the aged pension here. I am following the work and the good life, just like all these immigrants are (just like my grandfather who came to Australia from Europe post WW2). We have a global labour market now and its time to take part in it or miss out.

The next step is to launch a web business that I can work on anywhere in the world. If all goes to plan I will be making cold hard AUD while sitting on a beach somewhere. As far as I am concerned every person who gives up and sits by the wayside having a cry is giving up their chance of success and increasing my own. I will persevere and be MORE successful than my parents AND their parents even in this 'tough' market.

/rant (not having a go at you btw Byron, just venting in general)
