You can take your racist views and shove them where the sun doesn't shine too Byron.

    Kill the racism.

Having now lived and travelled through Asia and other parts of the world, it has become clear to me that despite some cultural differences, people everywhere are very similar. All through Asia (and the world) people are just working hard to do the best they can for themselves and their families. They are not out to get you. Don't worry what other people are doing, just do the same as them, which is making the best of the cards you are dealt.

I think that one of the best things that I have seen happen to Australia during my lifetime is what the immigrants from all parts of Asia have brought to our society. I would be a far lesser person if I had not had my friends from Cambodia, China, Japan and Thailand to share my life and experiences with as I grew up. I learn far more from them and regard them as better citizens than people with Southern Crosses tattooed onto the back of their legs that hang in sports bars all night.

Anyone approaching Asia in this century with a colonial superiority complex is going to be sadly awakened. Australia will adapt and engage with Asia or it will become a backwater waiting to be plundered by someone.

Wow you are touchy. Thai or Philipino wife?

"Your" idea of what a racist is, is simply that - your interpretation.

All you are doing is wrongfully slandering specific members and fear mongering by trying to close down conversations.

Like i said get off your politically correct high horse.

I believe TheEnds frustration is with high immigration levels and allowing foreign money to buy up property. I perfectly understand his frustration. Ofocurse boomers sitting on their fat, lazy, financially secure, retired or semi retired asses wouldnt understand.

He like many other people under 40 are being forced out of the property market and are in huge competition for a shrinking number jobs.

Boomers never had to face this competition from non residents and lets not forget Australia's population was half of what it is now, and land was much more affordable and jobs plentiful.

There is a lot of anger on the streets and a feeling that govts have sold us out to foreign interests.

People say it is the way off the world if things an be manufactured or done elsewhere because it is cheaper it should be. Thing is everything can be done elsewhere cheaper so weare in trouble. If we want to to it cheaper your standard of living is going to have to drop in a big way.

I think you'll find that an equally large problem is that white Australians don't accept brown or yellow people as "Aussies" or at least not "real Aussies". You're a prime example of that.

    Who is us ?

Australia is located in Asia and surrounded by Asian countries.
Australia is destined to be occupied by Asians - it is inevitable.

If you don't like this fact you should move back to the country you came from.

I thought he responded exactly to your point?
He is saying they may not identify themselves as Australians because Australians won't identify them as Australians - as you have already indicated.

I'm good friends with ethnically Chinese people who use language about other ethnic Chinese that would get me booted off forums. Their parents moved away from China and they don't want Australia filling up with Chinese.

I've worked with Indians and Sri Lankans who look at asylum seekers, especially Sri Lankans, as moochers rorting our good nature and treaty requirements.

I know Italians who hate Australia filling up with anyone who wasn't represented here when they arrived in the 1960s. They've said openly to me "We like Australia they way it used to be. The way it was when we got here."

Why am I saying this? Because we can't all get along. Sudanese and Samoans have never lived together before recent times, what makes anyone expect they will live besides each other indefinitely now?
