    Hi guys.

I have a friend who sells a lot of 925 jewelery items as a hobby.
Should I grab some to add to my stack for diversification?
She sells rings n necklaces for $5 at times and I'm just not sure if I should grab it all n stack it.

if the price per ounce ASW works out with in 10% of spot or so.. what ever you're comfortable with..
or, if it is your thing to fill up a treasure chest with jewellery and play pirates, then that is also an acceptable reason.. lol :D
and there ain't nothing wrong with being a little bit pirate!

If you want the jewelery to wear or whatever then why not, but if it's just for stacking then I wouldn't bother

unless at $5 it's below spot - but then why would she be selling it so cheap
Also make sure it really is sterling - if she's getting it from China it might not be

I tend to buy as gifts for others.

I have some in my stack, well, it's the wife stack and she doesn't really consider it to be a stack but she has more in gold jewellery than I have in gold bars.

It is good to diversify and at least you get a bit of enjoyment out of it.

They make better gifts than a coin.

You are paying a premium on coins anyway, I would rather spend $40 on jewellery than $40 on $23 worth of silver in Kookaburra form.

I wouldn't go all in though.

Probably if you asked a less male orientated group you might get more people recommending this form of stacking but other than spanner and pikey not many of the male stackers seem to be that interested.

If you can get it at spot price then yes get it! It's less volatile to price drops in my experience.
