Just wanna ask a newbie question on buying shares on small caps like this....

How you guys prepare the mentality to chip such large amount ($5k $10k) into this kind of stock?

I set $2k per lot and thats a lot for me hahahaha

It depends upon your portfolio size.
If you have say a $100k portfolio, then dropping $10k each on a few specs plays is a reasonable option.

It is all relative, if you only have $1-2000.00 to start with, then you do some extra cautious research on where you will "risk" that capital at first off.

If you can double that and then top chop your gains into another winner then you keep on rinse and repeating, IE take out your initial investment amount from
your first play and then place that into a new one. IE you invest $1000, it grows to $2000, so you sell half and put the $1000 profit into another while the original
play still rises (hopefully) but even if it doesn't you still have the base investment steady but a new one happening, the new one rises and you do the same again.
    ETC Ad infinitum...
Of course it does not always work that way, sometimes your initial investment stalls for a while or it go's ballistic, in that case you wait, or you take a 200% gain and split the
    gain between two new investments/gambles.

It is a sort of compounding mathematics game that comes into play, Sure if you have a $10,000 amount of play money to put in you might get a ten bagger return, But you might
also get a 2-3 bagger loss. Not so bad if you have several 10K plays on the go at a time, but it will hurt if you only have a few 1 K plays that lose 30% each.

The more you make the more you are willing to gamble, But you didn't spend a day digging holes for it, mowing lawns, serving sheeple type assholes, putting up with a prick of a boss or
dumb people, it is just a nice tidy paper profit that you got all on your own, and all it takes is a bit of research.

Be aware though, the time will come when it will all come crashing down, and if you are smart you will convert the whole lot to physical Gold and Silver before then to preserve your paper gains.

    Just My Opinion.

    Hang on a minute!

Lunar.... a Newbie question after all these years ?

How about a better question, How quick could you turn profit into metal for people playing the market ?

I remember buying some choice Gold bars from you in the past, Could you cope with an influx of buyers if the market crashed over night ?

    Interested to know.

    Hahaha SC
I am so green with small caps.
I liquidated some physicals to have a small play.
Honestly this is the first time I was buying small cap stocks like pio, ajm, dko, agy, etc and in Lit sector (a ver new to me, than ag au & ore)
Take a classic case of pio and dko on recently where the stocks were up to the sky and then minutes later, so quickly got smashed to the ground.
I followed your advice though to take some profit and not to be greed.
So far only pio did the nice gain, the others waiting for news to come ...

    Ajm entry 20c, down 10%
    Dko entry 12c, down 30%

    Hahahaha

A serious question for all concerned here though, Lunar above sit's in the middle, share holders sit in the paper side, physical sits in the physical side .

Most stackers know that the paper promise will never reach the physical promise, but at the same time all physical producers will see a gain. So will mines close, Will producers fail, even if society crashes ?

I'd like to think im balanced either way with about 30% physical gold / silver, 10% cash and the other 60% spread across small caps (some gold / silver) but im probably well overweight the small caps and should reduce. Meh. I love it when they bag.

What is your escape point though ? When does paper become just paper and you escape ?

Roll profits (into cash & physical silver kg bars) as they materialize to rebalance.. While the portfolio is outperforming physical i can't see it being an issue. Muddled through brexit and came out stronger. Any big retrace in silver price i would look to move back to physical. I like gold too, i just like silver better... Of course saying ill do it and actually doing it are two different things when new opportunities present everyday... Whats your thoughts?

Might need a shoehorn for my locker at reserve vault..

Is this going to have a correction? Or do I get in now and then if it does later buy more? Looks like a shooting star going up on the charts atm!
