Prospecting Australia has two prospecting camps coming up that I thought might be of interest to some of you guys.

    Nundle NSW http://www.prospectingaustralia.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2879
    Willow Grove VIC http://www.prospectingaustralia.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2627

Both camps are being held on the same weekend (Nundle Oct 25th -27th, Willow Grove Oct 26th - 27th).

There will be gold panning, sluicing, fossicking for gemstones and metal detecting. These are family friendly camps but please note they are non catered, so you'll need to bring your own food, camping and cooking equipment. Full details can be found in the links above.

I hope to see some of you there.
    Squiggles.

A quick report on the Nundle trip.

We had a fantastic turn out of around 20 or so guys and girls, there was plenty of chin wagging, fossicking, detecting and 4x4 exploring done but most of all the group got along extremely well and a lot of fun was had by all.

Here's some of the Gold that was found.

We are going to start planning the next Nundle trip very soon and hoping to make it there twice a year. We also have Sofala and Tuena on the cards for sometime in the new year as well as something for the QLD guys.

Pretty sure if you count them, there's only 2 ;)

That's only a portion of the Gold found by the guys. The one with the green lid I got using an Angus MacKirk sluice and a Garrett 14" pan. It was all sitting under the one rock.
