Hey all looking to put together a set of kooks from 1990 to present and a koala set from 2007 to present and was wondering what you more informed people thought of fair prices for each of the years in these sets or at least which are the key coins and how much you would pay for them.

    Thanks in advance

If buying in a complete set, you will pay quite a premium IMO

If buying separate at the silver price just under $30, you will be paying from $35-$40 per coin besides 1990 which goes for around $45+.

There may be more key dates but the 1990 is the one that stands out for me and is the only one i'd pay a decent premium on.

    Check here for mintages

    Hope that helped

Then some you just flat out wont be able to find so will resort to eBay at any price if it takes long enough without finding it. Now that the remints are available bullion borse still has some years for sale. I've found 1999, 2000 a challenge to find. And before the remints were released the 2006 was very pricey. Good luck it took me 12 months but it might only take you half that now there is heaps around again.

It was an 'okay' buy, I got one for 44 last week from a local dealer, I was happy with that

    I got an '02 '03 '91 for $33 each the other week.

The 09's seem to be one that's a bit more expensive.

A bit of advice too. If you find a decent year and there is more than 1 available, I would grab 2 or 3 then you can use the extras to haggle for the rest you are chasing. I have some 2012 koalas to trade and also some of the recent year kooks as well if you need them

Cool thanks guys been swapping out all my foreign bullion and trying to consolidate to my local mint I've found Koalas 07-09 are almost impossible to get though without paying prices that are ludicrous to me
