My goodness, but you are a genius. You say the CIA is a power to contend with, yet fail to make the mental leap to consider that Trump might be in the throws of contending with them. Even when he says point blank in that speech that his nominee for leading the intelligence services has not been endorsed yet and then goes on to expound upon why he is such a good nominee, you can't conceive that he might be trying to sell his vision and his nominee to this base of power. What did you expect him to do when they are so far off side that his nominee for administering them has not been accepted? Have a rant about how he will reign them in, or get them on side by telling them how important they think they are and how they will do great things in the future such as annihilating ISIS like he wants them to? Give the guy a bit of a chance at least before giving into your fears.
