Is there a sure fire way to determine the premium on an ASE or any other 1 oz for that matter

    is it spot plus 5%

I gave up trying to get that answer. In the end I just work with a $7 per coin premium on Perth Mint coins and a $5 premium on ASE and Maples.

This doesn't seem to have changed even though the price has near doubled since I bought.

Just test the waters by setting a crazy high price like $60 for an ASE at $45 spot, you might actually get offers on feebay for that !

ASE's seem to carry ~$1 premium over PM coins on the BB site. Phillys seem to be the bargain coin for me

Philly's - Austrian Philharmonics - available from most friendly stackers and dealers.
Best enjoyed with a pot of afternoon tea with some Mozart playing softly in the background... (serving suggestion)

I see the US mint has increased there minting cost from something like $3.70 to $4.70 a coin for ASE's in the last few days.

Yea, if you have $50,000 to spend then you can buy from him.

Here is the kicker when dealing with your LCS. How do they determine spot? Some use the current low "bid", some the previous days low "bid" when buying. BUT when selling they use "ask" and again they determine what ask is.
