Precious Metal Test Kit

Hi fellow stackers.Wondering if any one has bought a test kit for PM's .Have done an Ebay rece and can only find one local supplier here in Bris.

Does anyone know of a jeweler selling kits in my town?

I have some newly acquired rings 'n things I need to verify.

AJS sells acid testers for bith silver and gold. Theyre just off the Queen St mall near Showgirls (not aplace I frequent )

In addition, you can always get jewellery tested at Citygold, you'vejust gotta be crafty about it.

 

HOJ (House of Jewellery) is cheaper and better quality kits.

I am aware of the crafty ways of testing PMs ,but would rather take care of it myself ..those dealers are not our friends

 

Personally, I am against wasting company and business time (as in using and abusing). Doesn't take long for them to 'catch on'.

An idea for you Brisbanites is to pool in for a group purchase XRF Analyzer and perhaps lease it out to projack or another prolific SS dealer, for a weekly fee, or what-have-you.

Unite and use your imagination where all can benefit legitimately.

 

i get my free acid at school maybe should order a XRF and say my students need it for experiments
