Just a thought but if buying pre coins at 92.5 % and post at 50% paying spot
is it not better to buy post as you get the copper free?

When you refine though you don't get the copper back.

92.5% can be refined at home fairly easy, 50% is a real pain.

50% takes nearly twice the space to store the same amount of silver than 92.5

Anything above 60% can be cleaned using the bicarb of sodium / aluminium foil process, but it doesn't seem to work on the 50%

However if silver gets really high the 50% will be easier to use for small purchases.

I just watched a kilo of pre silver coins go for >$1400 on eBay, even junk silver coins are going well above spot price so if you can get them I would take pre or post at spot.

The coins will never be refined anyway, just swapped amongst stackers and investors so will only ever be traded on for their silver value
