I have marked 2 examples of members in the last 24hrs talking about airdrops AFTER the fact.....thats like telling me the winner of the 2020 Melbourne Cup today.
I have a novel idea of SHARING the information PRIOR to good Airdrops to help each other out.

The digi currency threads have more malakaish posts than anywhere else on here.
Some are helpful posts but you have to read through 5 shit ones to find a good one
Lets help each other rather than hack on each other.

Sorry to upset you @Stoic Phoenix I thought I was being helpful.

I posted that within hours of the drop for the benefit of those who were unaware.

Not everyone is on exchanges everyday.

Predictably, as with the uniswap air drop, token price has fallen significantly. At time of OP price was $2.48, this morning it’s $1.71.

If you wanted to swap out to your favourite coin, yesterday you would have had 1500 USD to play with, now just 24hrs later the same bag is only worth 1100.

In hindsight I should have said “ hey if you use 1inch get over there quick, claim your free tokens and swap them to (insert token here) before the ass falls out of them” :D

Just didn’t think I would need to point out the obvious:)

The best way to play an airdrop is to buy in advance and then sell just before the airdrop is due. You miss the new tokens but you will maximise your capital gain.

Airdrops are often just pump and dump plays these days.

Firstly thank you for the apology but absolutely unneccessary....no one is upset here.
I sincerely hope you and anyone else on the gravy train do get approx $1000-1500USD worth - thats a nice win and I would never begrudge anyone of that.
I know MOST airdrops are garbage ($2-$10) and same as franked dividends from old school shares price raises b4 payout and drops after.
I havent seen a decent airdrop in ages and a $1500...lets agree is a tasty one.

I also know a few people on here are interested but dont have the bankroll and/OR the market knowledge to feel comfortable in using crypto as an investment vehicle.
Me at the moment I park my crypto where Im getting between 6-10% P.A plus an annual dividend to just HODL but not locked into a term

@Stoic Phoenix @REDBACK To be clear guys, both uniswap and 1inch airdrops were token launches, the token did not exist until the airdrop. They are governance tokens for the respective exchanges and were distributed to exchange users who fulfilled certain criteria. The drop was not publicly known prior to the event.

Its no gravy train, it was a token launch and all tokens were distributed to eligible 1inch exchange users a few hours before my post.

The point of my post was to alert anyone who has used the exchange so they could move quickly and swap tokens to some thing more stable in the event of a predictable dump. And dump it has, 30% within 24hours of my OP and today’s price of $1.17 makes over 50% down.

Not quite like telling you who won the 2020 Melbourne cup, more like saying you have won the Melbourne cup, now don’t watch it disappear over the bar or into the pokies on your way home.

Again sorry for the shit malakasih thread

Actually, it's an excellent thread. Great analogy too.
There aren't many threads on this site which are genuinely and benevolently informative. I, for one, have learnt something here and clearly there are others who have too. Don't apologise for it.
