    Australia Post is pathetic.

One package sent from Mornington to us about 30 kilometers away went to Sydney first and then back to us. It took 14 days to get to us.

An Express package from the next suburb over took a week. Most take at least a week no matter wher thay are coming from.

Currently waiting for one from Albury which went to Sydney and has been there for a week now with no updates.

Yet, I had one from Sydney from another stacker here mailed that took one whole day, but that was a while back!!

A registered letter I sent to Queensland took a week, but there were no email updates even though I signed up for the service.

Interrnational Post is really quite variable and it depends on the country. I had a letter from the UK take 17 days to get here - only three days longer than the package from Mornington!!!

A letter I sent to the USA from Melbourne took three weeks. Three others coming the other way took 7 weeks (registered and it spent either 10 or 14 days waiting in Sydney depending on the USPS data or the Aus Post data), 4 weeks, and 3 weeks respectively.

There has been no mail service from Japan to Australia since April. Australia to Japan is still working, but the transit time is really, really variable.

Other countries in Europe have mail service between themselves, but many are no longer sending mail to Australia.

I have several postcards in my collection from Austria to Melbourne and Adelaide..................they took about a month to get here back in............................1885.

I have put in an inquiry about that today.

For 2 days nearly aus post tracking was down just when i needed it to work the most :(

And what i find funny is that I sent an express package to QLD on Tuesday from country Victoria and it was there and delivered/colleted on Thursday.

Aus post get ya shit together..

It isn't enough that Victorians are under 23 hour a day house arrest with hard curfews and violent cops gleefully grabbing young women in choke holds and slamming their heads into the pavement for mask violations but now they are not even able to get things delivered that they are not allowed to go and fetch themselves under threat of severe CCP style punishment because the Victorian Socialist Party and it's chairman won't allow Aust Post to run it's system on anything more than a skeleton staff. And this is effecting the entire system country-wide.

Beijing Dan is responsible for the collapse of the postal system in all of the other states along with Victoria.

It is weird ordered an item from Micheals Photography in town (Melbourne) & it turned up on the doorstep (SE suburbs) in less than 24 hours - yet a letter from my parents took 2 weeks ( they are in SA so there is that border thing )

Package now sitting in NSW (CHULLORA) for 11 days; another one waiting for processing in Melbourne for 7 days............no updates.

Looks like a letter from the UK can get to Australia and be delivered FASTER than an across town parcel in Melbourne or a package from Albury to Melbourne.

You're braver than I am. I never put more than one parcel at a time into that process.

Well the situation in Victoria just keeps getting worse and worse.

Dan (Damn) Andrews has really screwed up the State and it looks like the entire country with his bs lockdown.

Now waiting on four items from inside Australia and several from foreign countries.

New Zealand must be lost in the white clouds with 19 days and counting for that one. The last item from overaseas only took 15 days and that made it from the UK to my house in that time.

A package from a suburb 15 kilometers from where I live was sent to NSW for processing. That took 3 days and it has been sitting in NSW for the past 9 days. So a trip of over 1800 kilometers to get to me from a place 15 kilometers away......................

One from the ACT went to NSW in one day and has also been sitting there for the past 13 days.

I'm getting to the point of just stopping any purchasing anything that requires delivery.

And no, private deliveries are not any better, with one from Sydney just sitting there for the past five days.

had to close my ebay store on the weekend, had 10 refund requests for parcels not arriving for rare screws I sell.
I have no idea how a large ebay store would be making money with this Aus post bullshit.
Ive had enough refunding people for shit that is just delayed and so figure its best just to stop selling, people arent interested in the reason being ausposts or covids fault when their packages are delayed, they hit the refund request button at the first chance.
People cant leave their houses to buy things and they cant get things delivered to them. what a joke. then from the business side, they cant sell face to face as the gov has closed them down and they cant even sell online smoothly.
not as if aus post hasnt had enough time to figure how to operate under these conditions.
their CEO should be given the sack

Ill resume selling once this shit shows signs of improving, until then no online selling or buying from me on ebay or the likes.

upside is after this covid shit they might find a new love for buying from bricks and mortar businesses again.
