But it is endemic and cannot be prevented.

In Australia we pretend that corruption in government doesn't exist, or if it does is an aberration. Most countries in the world understand that government is corrupt and are williing to pay to get beneficial treatment. At least it makes it cheaper and easier for the average person to pay someone off ie the local copper or mayor to get what they want. That's not the case in Australia - the going market price for the ear of government in Australia is beyond most.

Now the big question is will they keep chasing her for fraud like Slipper, (makes him look positively saintly doesn't it?), AND will they continue putting expenses under scrutiny and narrow the channel of 'allowable' expenses, or at least increase scrutiny.

Private hires to run the bus lanes. Sickening entitlement mentality, but at least I won't have to see her nasty rat faced visage plastered on every news site now.

Next up is Pyne for his 30k holiday with the missus in 5 Star Paris.

If by some bizarre adherence to justice, this ever goes to trial, I'm sure we'll be treated by a creative defence based on a perceived threat of terrorism in places that aren't expensive forms of transport, and attendance at non-official functions were in fact covert security operations conducted to ensure the safety of citizens who can't afford the luxury.

Ruddocks nasty rat faced visage looks likely to replace hers.
Voted most likely to play the devil in a morality play.

But all the libs have smug , hard and selfish faces.
    Look at Pyne.

    Now the joke.
Do you know the Irishmans knock, knock joke?
    You start.
