Issued for the British Virgin Islands, the coin has a 50,000 mintage and comes in a one-ounce 0.999 format only http://agaunews.com/2017-kennedy-bvi-silver-bullion-coin-from-pobjoy/
Interesting design. It's odd, growing up seeing (countless times) the reverse of the Kennedy half dollar, the really superbly designed U.S. presidential seal (by Gasparro), to now see the opposite side of a Kennedy coin being a British monarch instead. It's a bit of a pill to swallow for a long time fan of Kennedy Half Dollars.
Sadly, the US Mint is so useless at catching many events that this is about the only realistic option.
And their marketing more or less has sucked for years so even if they did get it right about timing the release of a commemorative coin celebrating a milestone of some sort, then they likely would have blown it with poor marketing.
