    good question, i was trying to figure that out here :X

    i checked ebay, recent completed sales

    1oz colored dragon is AUD$195
    1/2oz colored dragon is AUD$105

    1oz gilded dragon AUD$111-138

    Its an estimate price provided:)

    Im going to be putting up 2 running number S11 Dragon proofs on feebay. Looking for some advice on the length and starting price of my auction, the coins coa are 1,688 and 1,687. I'm hopping the two 8's help out.

    think the lone digit of "1688" would fetch more :X
    cause in one the chinese ethenic groups slang. it meant "on the road to fortune!" (yi lu fa fa)

    Hey I listed sequential numbers a while back I think they where 27 & 28 or something similar and got $850

    $850.. nice. That's for the Proof Silver ones right (not coloured)? Gotta be happy with that :cool:

    I've just listed a running pair of 1oz CPDs in separate listings and with reference to each-other. I figure this will bring in more bidders, and hopefully push the price a bit for collectors that want the pair. If it doesn't work out that way, I'll be listing my other sets together (Running number pair and running number trio). Fingies crossed!

    Also just sold a 1oz colored on eBay only got 150 pretty disappointed as there where heaps on there with bids higher than mine still running

    I saw one go for $135 this afternoon, bit of a worry. I think the momentum is waning for them on the Bay, just too many of them, not the same silly demand there was at the start.

    I think a couple of years time will see these around 350 - 400 same as the tiger is fetching now.

    I 100% agree re long term prospects for these. They may even do better than the tigers, comes down to Tiger vs Dragon.

    The short-term window for flipping seems to be closing though, as everybody who got some is piling in to make a few quick bucks (myself included) and there is no shortage of supply at the moment. If I see too many more going for >150 I'll be pulling my listings and holding for a while. Chinese NY could be good.
