Thanks for quick answer, maybe this threat can be used to discuss anything relating to the new and last coin of the series :D

Hoping to grab the next one in the series. Very much looking forward to it!
Was wondering how you guys know if it's the Jellyfish? I rung up Perth Mint and Downies asking about it and they both said they couldn't tell me yet :(

Downies also posted a poll on their Facebook page this morning...
https://www.facebook.com/downies - be interesting to see which option gets the most votes!

I think it's ironic that more people (mainly children) are killed by choking on coins each year than all of these creatures put together!

After being bitten numerous times by redbacks and once on the hand by a box jellyfish tentacle... I can tell you nothing scares the begeezus out of me more than the memory of my nephew choking on a 2c peice as an infant!

The jellyfish hasn't been released...in fact it seems to be only speculation at this point that there is even going to be a jellyfish coin :)

A far more deadly and dangerous animal would be the humble bee.

The again the animal responsible for the most number of human deaths in history is the mosquito so perhaps if should be on a coin !?!?

I personally am not collecting this series as I got in to collecting too late and will not be paying a $1500 premium for a redback. If anyone is missing any in the series they're all on eBay at the moment - last I saw the redback was at $1000

There are 5 coins released so far in this series. The Red Back Spider, Blue Ringed Octopus, Great White Shark, Brown Snake and as of today Box Jellyfish :)

I love this series, have managed to grab one of each and have put my order in for a jellyfish today. I just buy them because I like them, not looking to sell for profit :)

Speculative in my opinion. If you want solid but not necessarily spectacular returns, stick with the lunar bullions.
