Back to the original topic - I hope any of you near the fires are faring well, let's hope that we get to see a more common sense approach to issues like backburning and land management in the not too distant future - with a bit of common sense the scale of these tragic events could be drastically reduced Religion and politics, always going to be a can of worms, and can potentially bring out the hothead in just about everyone :/ (except me of course - too cool for school I am)
Nice tirade. Yet you do exactly what you berate others for as I pointed out very clearly with your thread that you started three days ago. Seriously, why do you engage in (and start) threads that are political and then complain about them? As someone else suggested, just browse PM relevant parts of the forum and stop torturing yourself that there are people that don't share your world views and let the other forum members discuss what they please without you trying to censor and censure them.
I suppose I can console myself by realising that readers , seeing the kind of people you are , will judge your politics thereby.
The entire voting public judged Peter's politics in September. I am not anti-left, I am anti Labor. I don't particularly like Abbotts policies, signing a free trade deal with China seems like a big mistake but then I am only an observer without all the facts. I am anti Labor because I, like the rest of the people that threw them out at the ballot this year box saw very clearly what they are and what they stand for for the last 6 years and we wanted to give someone else a chance. Time will tell if the Libs are better or worse, but give them time. To go full circle though, I congratulate our Prime Minister for what he has done fighting bushfires for the last 13 years.
I doubt the slimy barstads think anything of it as they are all soulless and without a conscience!
Please don't ever whine and play the victim again about people making crass political comments on a precious metals forum.
They dont care the greenies think that the reason why the nsw bushfires occurred is because tony abbott got rid of a tax
Yes, the carbon tax is still in place and will be for some time but the current weather is because one day the tax will be gone. Latte Greenie logic.
