Plus 1 button?

    What do you think of a +1 button next to the "Say Thanks" button?

    There is one in another forum i post in and its useful to see how helpful or correct your post is :)

    saying thanks is one of the ways to say how helpful post is ...
    I'd better add "-" and make it possible to make post invisible after reaching certain number of minuses.

    Actually, that's not a bad idea.

    Whilst the "Say Thanks" button is there, and I do use it, particularly when someone has replied to a post I've made with information or corrections I'm looking for, it would be nicer to leave the "Say Thanks" button for really saying "Thank you" for posting, and have a separate +1 system for highlighting posts of good value.

    Having "Negative" buttons causes problems. A +1 Button would be good. and we all just ignore bad advice and comments
