Hi to all numismatists of this great forum!

    Could you please help me?

As an introduction: I am collecting Australian coins for a only 2 years, but already have complete collection of all Australia commemorative circulation 1$ coins and almost all commemorative circulation 20 and 50 cents. I am currently concentrating on year-by-year collection of circulation decimals (have full collection of 1 cent coins, including, 1986, 1991, 2006 ones).

And recently i started collecting uncirculated legal tender decimals. I have full set of Anzac Remembered 20 cent (including 1$ poppy. Love this coin) and a few 50 and 1$ uncirculated commemorative coins.

But I have a bit of problem with finding complete list of all 20c, 50c and 1$ uncirculated legal tender coins. The most complete lists I found on threepence site:

    http://www.australian-threepence.com/collecting-coins/complete-guide-australian-20-cent-20c/
    http://www.australian-threepence.com/collecting-coins/complete-guide-australian-50-cent-coins/
    http://www.australian-threepence.com/complete-guide-australian-1-dollar-1-coins/
    http://www.australian-threepence.co...uide-pnc-issues-philatelic-numismatic-covers/

But I am not sure if its complete or not.

For example i found in one post office this 2012 PNC called The Road to London

and photo of a rear of a coin looks like on all other 2012 1$ coins

but i cant find this coin on treepence list, so I dont know if its legal tender uncirculated commemorative coin or a token.

So are there any complete catalogue of all uncirculated commemorative decimal australian coins? Could you please help me?

I don't know much about decimal coinage, it's not my bag, but I know the very busy chap who runs the Australian-threepence website so I can ask him how complete those lists are. Mark actually frequents this forum so you might get an answer from him directly.

I'll likely see him at the next numismatic society meeting in a few weeks so I'll ask him then if he doesn't pop up on his own.

In addition to those though you are going to have to track down all the years with different mint marks. In some cases the mint would bring in coin minting machines (almost like vending machines) to major royal/agricultural shows and you would get an Adelaide or Brisbane mint mark on your otherwise normal dollar. That might be hard to nail down a list. I'm sure the information is out there somewhere though.

    Thanx phrenzy for answering.

Actually I think that the owner of Australian-threepence website made a tremendous job by making these coin lists, so even if the list may have some holes, they are minor holes.

I made a research and found that this Kangaroo coin is actually legal tender uncirculated coin. Maybe its not well known. It was also released as a part of 2012 AUSTRALIAN OLYMPIC TEAM $1 ALUMINIUM BRONZE FIVE-COIN SET by PERTH MINT

So am I right that the Royal Australia Mint mostly makes circulation/uncirculation/proof coins and other base metal coins, while The Perth Mint mostly make bullion and investment coins, but sometimes it makes base metal coins?

I found this small list of base metal coins by Perth Mint

    London 2012 Olympic
    http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/london-2012-olympic-games-base-metal-coins.aspx

    Celebrate Australia
    http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/celebrate-australia-coins.aspx

Bush Babies (also available in silver with colorful picture)
    http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/australian-bush-babies.aspx

    Australia Birds
    http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/birds-aluminium-bronze.aspx

    And these:

Interesting thing that we have lightouse set from RAM and Perth mint

I'm one of the authors of the threepence site. The lists do not include Perth mint coins. They are usually only updated once a year, whenever the RAM annual report comes out. If you find coins missing from our list please use the contact form on the site to let us know and it'll get added.

I see. So without Perth mint and only with RAM, I think its a full list :)

Great job you made on a list (you also included an article on almost each coin). Thank you very much :)

Fjodin, s'ok, though I cringe at the typo's I can now see, but I was halfway thru a 12 hour nightshift at the time..... Also quite good are the RAM's (PAD) wildlife series, the coins are on the small side compared to the PM's coins, I think maybe that's an Eastern States thing :). They have issued 7 sets of 6 $1 coins @ $15 per coin, now I really must buy that anorak :).
