These do seem to be devaluing rapidly.

    Nope, wasn't me.

I'm not surprised to see volatile prices & to see it dip sometimes, especially at this juncture.

Part of it depends on whether sellers start freaking out & flooding the market all at once, or if it's more of a trickle.

And I still think over the long term, there's a good chance of these going for more than $200 USD or whatever a few years down the road.

So when do the slabbed ones start popping up? :D

Just having fun of course Gitito, but then again, you knew that, because we are friends. Maybe you are right, but for a non-Chinese 1 oz coin to hit 300, I'm not buying it. I mean that figuratively. hehehe. I think the max this will cap out at again is maybe 200? you may even see some desparate sellers at 125.00? :) Heck, I may buy back at 90.00. hehehe. What about that 500.00 price. LMAO.

Indeed, you are right about that, and my bet is around 179 - 199. So that is good for stabilizing prices. Listen, I hope these go to 500.00 a pop. And was just busting chops on the 90.00. I honestly don't see these going down below 150.00. I'd be shocked.

lol. check again my good friend. 152.00 for a proof!! Look at the COA, and then scroll down. That is a pretty big drop, I'd say, and trust me Louie, I wish it weren't so. I'm in this community too, and I'm committed. So, I want prices to go thru the roof, so that all of us crazy stackers can make a lot of money. And I'm sure these will climb back up...but they may have some down-side before they do. That's all. As you know, I needed the money, so I unloaded...I wanted those 12 oz pandas bad, so those were the first ship to sail. Bye, bye Lunar Goats. Well, I just bougth a bought a load of Chinese Historical Figures tonight, so next on the list to go is, bye, bye......Secrets of Pena....and many others...including most of my superman coins...as you know, my focus is now, Perth Mint coins for stacking and Chinese coins and medals for collecting...keep'n it simple. That means most of my colored, and crazy collectibles are sailing on the ship....bye, bye. I need to simplify my stack. Even if it means at a bit of a loss (i.e. Pena will lose, I'm certain - oh well). But then again, we've already talked about it. hehehe.

^ Okay, I didn't scroll far enough down on that eBay page...you're right....seems like the proofs are cooling off. I wonder if these proofs that are up on eBay now were purchased by people who paid the $200 plus and are simply trying to flip thinking they can sell for even more.

Within about 2 weeks or so I sold one Stock Horse for around 30 and one for 90. It depends on many things, but we will see which will be maximum price buyers are willing to buy when price "movements" calms down a little bit. :)

And even more, when 2nd coin comes out. ;)

Here is a good case and point on watching for hype. Just say'n. There sure does seem to be a lot of folks wanting to unload both the proof and matted version. Perhaps folks thought they'd be hitting the nose bleed price of 300, 400, and 500. Hopefully the rise in this new issue, the Odin, doesn't rise too fast. If it does, I'm out. Best of success to everyone.

Yes. And people were giving me a "hard time" for unloading my lot at 215 and higher (proof). Maybe these will make a comeback, who knows. I doubt it. Not at 1 oz. Maybe if spot goes to 100.00. :)))

Was a good move! I just sold mine. Got no bites here at 140 and took a week to sell on Ebay at $150!

I'm sure they'll do well, but highly doubtful that 1 oz will bring a 200.00 ticket. Just my humble opinion. BUT, if you're a collector, who cares, right? :)) It is a nice looking coin. best of success to everyone

You sold at a good time Barsenault.

That doesn't necessarily mean that the prices won't reach that mark or higher at some point down the road (like if the next coin in the series is also a great design that may draw new fans to the series who might want to buy the first issue) but right now, several of the recent sold prices are at or below issue price (though on the other hand several are above issue price for both BU and proof versions).
