iam shure u bought for 59 so u are fine :)

$59 was the release price for the cards here in Australia last year. The only ones any overseas dealers would have got would have been trades or buys from here. So add on shipping costs and sellers and dealer mark-up to the $59 and you will be a lot closer to the mark.

Downies is the only Dealer that had an allocation of these and that is less than half the 1000 cards and they have sold them at the same price as Perth Mint $59.

The rest have been purchased by non-dealers such as Holdfast who you are slagging off at so your "all the profit for the dealers" is false. Same this year as last year.

It was the uncarded versions last year that were onsold by emk to dealers in other Countries that were marked up heavily before sale to the public.

The only resolution to high prices is don't purchase. Simple. If someone or many do, then we know it wasn't too high, right? Market forces will dictate prices. If no one buys (like me), then prices will come down, and we'll get a better deal. Quite simple, really. Unless of course we want the govt involved...and we know what will happen then...LOL.

Got my one carded horse from Downies today. It wasn't cheap to ship to US but it sure was fast! Beautiful coin! As Eureka stated, this is exactly the same marketing scheme used last year. Those of us in the US pretty much had to wait for the secondary market and will pay the premiums added by all the profit takers between us and PM.....or not. I think most stackers have to deal with that situation from time to time regardless of where you live. I don't much like it either. Guess it is a personal decision that each of us has to make. I would very much like to get some uncarded coins like last year, will decide after we see the price.

    Hi Bank Manager

There are a number of reasons why someone in the United States might get their Stock Horse coin before an Australian customer. If you ordered another item at the same time we may be waiting for that product to arrive before shipping out your whole order. Another reason could be that, with so many coins to go out, Hellcat6's order was one of the first to ship and we are still working through all the orders and will get to yours shortly (if we haven't already by now). We also have an improved despatch service that guarantees delivery to the US in 3 days. We've found that with Australia Post it can take longer to reach certain locations around the country.

If you still haven't received your coin and feel you should have by now please contact me at [email protected] with your name and order number and I can look into it for you.

    Kind regards,

    Renee

    Hey,

The last message I got from you was on March 28th and was replied to on the same day :) (I see the message in my sent box).

I've gotten the same question from a lot of different people so just to clear it up, I won't be having a special on this years stock horse. The supplier (commissioning company) also commissioned the saltwater crocidile coins and to me, those were junk coins so I chose not to buy them. As a result they're not happy with me and stated I will be getting a very limited allocation of the 2014 Stock Horses, if any.

I personally do not care to do business with companies that force you to take junk if you want them to sell you what you actually want.

    Sorry guys! :)

No worries WSD, we hear that dealers are going rake folks over the coals on price with this year's issue...they can keep them. :)

I don't blame WSD one bit. Those RAM Crock coins were overpriced crap. It doesn't make sense to buy all of the crappy coins being spewed out like all of those painted eagles, maples and falcons just to be able to get the stock horse coin.

Why would a dealer buy 100 crappy coins that will have to be sold at a loss just to get 50 good coins?
