Do rolls (shrink Wrap) of 20 1oz coins hold a higher value than the same coins and same amount as singles not in a roll?
In some extent yes as when buying rolls you can be sure that all the coins are not handled and capsules were not opened.On the other hand when buying rolls you buying in bulk.So I think it really comes down what is the demand for that coin.
If I had the option of buying 20 singles versus buying a sealed roll of 20 for the same price I would go the roll everytime. However, nearly every bullion shop offers a small discount if you are buying by the roll. I like buying by the roll for the same reasons dragafem mentioned too, clean untouched coins.
