    Hi

Have seen a couple of the Perthmint gold in the certicard cases. Is it normal to have some air bubbles around the bullion and around the edges?

Or is that just the way they are made?

Seen it like that at a dealers shop but IMHO it doesn't look right?????

    Cheers

some still have the plastic wrap around the actual card
kind of like when you buy a watch it has clear plastic over the face of the watch

the plastic may of come lose and bubbles come in...its just a layer you can take off

Mine has the big bubbles. Some even extend right to the edges, so you could easily lift up the plastic if you wanted.

Bought them straight from the Mint.

I bleieve what you are talking about is a protective plastic layer that is put on the item during manufacture to prevent it from being scratched, there is no reason to keep it on afterwards, you should just be able to pull it off.
