I was told when I purchased these that they were very hard to come by. Is this true? If so, what are they worth? I may put these in the forum for trade later.... ? Thanks
Hard to come by NO PM have stopped making them that's about all I'm sure chimp will tell you they are rare
Ha ha!! Never trust a salesman huh?! I only paid spot plus a few %, there was no extra premium on them. Just thought I would ask Thanks for the feedback peeps!
Just added 20 of the suckers to my BB/Perth Bullion order... http://www.perthbullion.com/shop/detail/PMSBO20/ They're not particularly rare but I have paid a premium on them before as they're a nice size between the 10oz and kilo. If you get the ones with swirls... ZOMG they're so totally worth the premium, very rare* *ambiguous definition used by some to swindle unknowing buyers out of extra dollars
Shamatti The Perth mint ceased making the 20oz Perth Mint bars years ago and... for some time, there were quite a few people who wanted the 20oz bars and of course... they had a premium. Last year (2013) Perth had old stock that they decided to release; they were available from their Perth Mint Bullion Web-site. For awhile, during the new release, dealers like Perth Bullion company, formerly (Bullion Bourse) who resides in WA could not aquire or had no desire to aquire stock but at the request of his customers they now have them for a limited time period. When the 20oz bars are no longer available / dried-up from dealers...that's it...there's no more unless The Perth Mint decide to pour new 20oz bars which they have no intention of doing. They are a very good bar to accumulate. Perhaps not of a premium today but certainly a premium in the years to come. H
